Iwerne & Forres Team Leader
Paul heads up the Iwerne & Forres Staff Team. He first came on the holidays as a 14 year old at Tonbridge School and has come back almost every summer since. He studied Classics at St. John’s Oxford and Theology at Peterhouse Cambridge. Before joining the staff, he was curate at Britain’s easternmost church in Lowestoft, Suffolk. Paul is married and has three daughters and a son, with whom he shares a passion for Everton FC and Welsh rugby.
Forres Holidays are led by the Rev Rupert Shelley. He is married to Georgina and they have three children. Having studied Geography at Bristol University, Rupert served a Short Service Commission in the Royal Green Jackets. After the Army he served as a Youth Worker at a church in Basingstoke after which he trained for Church of England ministry at Wycliffe Hall in Oxford. Rupert served as Assistant Minister at Emmanuel Church, Wimbledon for four years before joining the Titus Trust to head up Forres.
The Iwerne and Forres Staff Team also help out with the running of Forres Holidays. They attend a mixture of both Iwerne and Forres, leading to continuity between the two Holidays. They have a wealth of experience running Christian Activity Holidays, and have mostly grown up attending Forres when they were younger!
In addition to the staff team, Iwerne and Forres also runs an associate programme for those who have just left university. The associates help in the office with the administration and also visit schools to encourage Christian staff and pupils and to help with Christian meetings.
